As part of our ongoing commitment to support education in underprivileged communities, the Mohit Muskaan Foundation team visited the Zilla Parishad (ZP) School in Gyalanpada, located in the Ganjad area of Dahanu Taluka, Palghar District.

The visit was led by Priti Gupta (Managing Trustee) along with our dedicated volunteers Nisha Jain and Sagar Reche. During our visit, we were pleased to donate an Android TV and a color printer to the school as part of our e-learning initiative, aimed at enhancing the learning experience for students.

The school currently serves around 125 students, all from economically underprivileged tribal families. These young learners are full of enthusiasm and a strong desire to study, but their potential is often limited by the lack of proper digital learning resources. In classrooms where students are crammed together, focused learning becomes a daily challenge. Without digital tools, delivering quality education in such settings is extremely difficult.

The area around Gyalanpada is home to a dense tribal population facing significant economic hardships. Many families struggle to meet even basic needs, and providing their children with educational support is often beyond their means.

We would like to extend a special thanks to School Principal Mr. Shankar Amte and his dedicated team for organizing a warm and thoughtful inauguration ceremony. We were deeply touched by the warm welcome and the honor they extended to us during the event.

One of the most memorable moments of the day was sharing lunch with the school community. We were offered the same meal served to the students under the mid-day meal scheme – it was simple, wholesome, and truly delicious. This experience brought us even closer to the spirit of the community and reminded us of the dignity and value in every small gesture.

We are incredibly grateful to all the donors who made this initiative possible. A heartfelt thank you to:

Naman Kejariwal, Mamta Dalmia, Manali Kamat, Seema Joshi, Sanjay Harlalka, Joshna Iyer, Vijaykumar Kedia, Anita Gupta, Gayatridevi Modi, Shailesh Ahire, Ganesh Gupta, Bimaladevi Gupta, and Ashok Sharma – your generous support helped us fulfill this much-needed drive.

The Mohit Muskaan Foundation remains committed to uplifting and empowering underprivileged communities. This visit reaffirmed our belief that small steps can bring meaningful change in the lives of many.
